About telemedicine

Keep us informed by using health tracking devices from your own home.

“Dr. Sinatra really knows his stuff! He changed my medication and has guided me every step of the way. He is thinking outside the box and testing for things that other doctors don’t think of. I’m well on track to be better and see this lifestyle change actually sticking for the long haul.”

How we discovered the power of virtual health.

One silver lining that emerged during the Pandemic was the ability to offer more virtual visits to patients.  Phone visits were not uncommon before the Pandemic, but virtual visits were generally designed and limited for those who were sick or physically unable to make it into the office.  As telemedicine grew and became the norm, physicians and patients alike found the convenience and ease very valuable for not having to take time off work, commute to the office, or seek childcare.  Instead, one could talk to their doctor while on vacation, on a lunch break, or sitting parked in their car.

One minor limitation to telemedicine is that I will not be able to provide physical examination for acute, or chronic conditions.  What this means is that if you have a sore throat for example you may need to get tested for a strep infection, or if you are having palpitations a cardiac exam by your PCP or visit to urgent care may be required.  Therefore, it is essential that you have a primary care physician locally where you can go to receive these physical exams and appropriate testing when needed. I will still be able to help you manage various conditions, but sometimes a physical exam is needed for proper diagnosis and care.

Fast forward to today and my practice is now 100% virtual.  I live in Idaho and am licensed to practice medicine in Idaho and California.  I am so grateful to be able to provide outstanding care from afar, and my patients have expressed how much telemedicine has been beneficial for them as well.  Soon I plan on offering in person visits in Idaho, so please check the website regularly for updates.
